The Alexa rankings of our Network Marketing group are most impressive. For example, our first five companies outrank GNC, and 29 of ours outrank Cover Girl. Our Top 50 Network Marketing Companies are in the top 10% of Alexa’s first million sites.

All but six of our Top 50 are also ranked 100,000 or better (remember lower numbers are better – it’s closer to #1.)

Alexa says that “Generally, Traffic Rankings of 100,000+ should be regarded as not reliable because the amount of data we receive is not statistically significant.

Conversely, the more traffic a site receives (the closer it gets to the number 1 position), the more reliable its Traffic Ranking becomes.” (emphasis added) Source: Alexa.com So we’re in the good group! ALL but six are under 100k rank.

You can check your company ranking by going to alexa.com, and entering your company’s website address. If your company doesn’t appear in this list and you think it should, let us know by posting a friendly Comment, below.

Remember, in addition to the Alexa ranking, a company must also be 5 years old or more to be included here.

9 Tips for Prospecting in Network Marketing

Posted by admin | network marketing | Friday 21 October 2011 7:16 pm

Network marketing is a system in which marketing messages are transmitted through a network of distributors. Each person in the network is a marketer who attempts to find customers as well as other network marketers to expand the marketing net.

The compensation system in the network marketing is such that a network marketer earns not only from sales initiated by him but also from sales brought in by his sponsored network marketers. Therefore the sponsor has a vested interest to see that his sponsored networkers perform well.

Network marketing is also known as relationship marketing or referral marketing. For a network marketer the most important part of his business is recruiting new network marketers or prospects and ensuring that they are able to earn well from the program.

How can a network marketer ensure that more and more prospects join his business?

Here are some tips on prospecting effectively.

1.Shift your Focus from Yourself to Your Prospect. This is perhaps the most important step and calls for a basic change in the mindset. Every network marketer wants to earn and grow his business. However, while communicating with your prospect you should completely forget about your earnings. Instead, you should only think of helping your prospect to earn for himself.

2.Build a Rapport. Building a rapport is the basic prospecting principle. This opens up the prospect and establishes a channel of communication. Present yourself as a friend and not as a salesman.

3.Understand What Motivates the Prospect. Any prospect will be inclined to join network marketing business only in the hope of meeting his unfulfilled desires. He may be looking for financial security, additional income, freedom from daily grind, business ownership and so on. While communicating with your prospect you should try and understand rather quickly what he is looking for and what motivates him. When you focus on your prospect rather than on your business you are in a better frame of mind to get this information.

4.Listen to Your Prospect. It is important to listen to the prospect in order to understand him. As a general rule you should allow your prospect to speak for more than three-fourth of the time.

5.Ask Open-Ended Questions. This is a way to encourage your prospect to speak. Without being offensive you can ask open-ended questions to keep the interaction going, such as why, what, where, when. Your prospect will feel more involved.

6.Match Expectations of the Prospect to Your Offer. Ask yourself honestly this question. Can your offer be used to satisfy the expectations of the prospect? If yes, then you may be on the right track. Just show the prospect how your program is going to help him.

7.Respect the Decision of the Prospect. The prospect will make decisions based on his reasons, not yours. There is no point in trying to force your decision on him. Respect his decisions and you will remain friends even if he does not join you immediately.

8.Build Credibility. Be honest, whatever may be the outcome of your interaction. Your prospect should develop faith in you and trust you to help him in growing his business.

9.Contact the Prospect Frequently. If a prospect is non-committal or even if he says no first time it does not necessarily mean no. He may later decide to join you provided you remain in contact with him. This is particularly true in email marketing where prospects are convinced enough to join the program only after being reminded several times.

There you have the clue to successful prospecting.

Network marketing provides one of the best opportunities not only for massive earnings but also for personal development. Your life is transformed and you get the power to transform lives of other people. You get a deep satisfaction when you are able to give another person a life changing experience. All you need to do is develop a proper mindset and you are on your way to prosperity.

Successful Network Marketing – Inviting

Posted by admin | network marketing | Saturday 8 October 2011 8:08 pm

One of the main reasons that most people who don’t become successful in network marketing fail, is that they haven’t yet developed the so what mentality.

They are too worried about what people will think to invite people to look at their network marketing opportunity with total confidence and excitement. This is fatal because if you are not 100% excited and committed to your opportunity, it will be obvious to your prospect.

Even if you are working the business part time, it doesn’t matter, when you are in you are 100% in & excited.

You need to remember too, that not everybody likes the same thing. You have to stop trying to convince people to join your company and develop the mindset of sorting the population into those who are into whatever your company sells and those who aren’t.

If you come across someone who doesn’t get it, let them go and look for someone else who does. There are plenty of people in the world, so stop trying to convince and start sorting.

It is well worth reminding ourselves that Some Will, Some Won’t, So What, Next!

Anybody who ever achieved anything had to get out of their comfort zone to do so, building your network marketing business will be no different. You have to go through the process of expanding your comfort zone, doing things that you don’t feel comfortable doing and keep repeating them until they do become comfortable.

Of course, the whole process of building your team can be broken down into a number of components, e.g. inviting, presenting, closing & on job training. The majority of companies will have presentations that do the job for you, aids to get the prospect into the business and training material & courses to help them to be successful. Therefore, you can be reasonably mediocre at most of the skills involved and still be very successful in this business as long as you get really good at the first one, inviting.

However, it doesn’t matter how good you are at the other skills if you don’t master how to invite people in the first place.

Most people, when they invite someone to take a look at their business, get asked about the opportunity and automatically go straight into presenting mode, which gives the prospect an opportunity to form an opinion about the company or product before they have seen the professional presentation.

Your goal should be to get them in front of the tools without them really knowing what they are about to see. In this way, you let the proven tools do the work rather than giving them the chance to judge a particular word or phrase that you used when presenting.

To do this, use the following four steps.

Be in a hurry.

Successful people are busy people. Set the scene when you call by saying something like, ‘Hi John, look I don’t have a lot of time.

Clear the date.

Your goal is to get them in front of the tools. If you can’t get the time cleared, get off the phone and call back at another time and do not start asking about alternative times.

You: ‘What are you doing at four?’

John: ‘I’m working.’

You: ‘Ok John, I’ll call back another time, good bye.’

Alternatively, John: ‘Nothing, I’m free at four.’

Get excited.

‘Great John, listen I’ve stumbled across something that you have just Got to see.’

Set the appointment.

‘Be by your computer at Four, I’ll call you at 3:55 with the details, goodbye.’

Don’t be tempted to present if you are asked a question, just say you haven’t got time to go into it now and you will call back at 3:55

With practice, this is a 30 second call at the most. So remember, get really good at inviting people to the tools, whether it be a website, a meeting, a conference call or a home party etc.

Develop a so what mentality, some will, some won’t, so what! And let the tools do the work for you.
